Notes & Instructions
Glaze G2902D is a cone 6 formulation engineered for optimal fit on bodies with compositions similar to L3659B (38% silica, 28.5% ball clay, 28.5% nepheline syenite, 5% bentonite). The fired surface is stable and exhibits no crazing. Under standard oxidation firing protocols—specifically a ramp rate of 750°F/hr to cone 6, followed by a temperature drop to 1800°F and a 4-hour soak—the glaze produces a clear, non-crystalline finish.
