It features a neutral thermal expansion suitable for a broad range of stoneware and porcelain clay bodies, effectively preventing crazing and shivering. The glaze produces a high-gloss, reflective surface ideal for protecting underglaze work. Application notes: The material maintains excellent suspension in bucket form and exhibits a stable firing range from soft Cone 6 to hot Cone 7. Due to its stiff melt characteristics, micro-bubbling may occur if firing schedules do not allow for sufficient degassing. Users should ensure clean surface preparation, as the high transparency of the glaze will emphasize any surface irregularities, contaminants, or clay body inclusions.
